A Semi-Annual inspection in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 25 and the National Fire code. Testing of all flow switches, tamper switches and back flow preventers in accordance with local requirements.

We provide 10-Year Obstruction tests and 3-Year Dry Trip tests as required.

A detailed report will be issued upon completion.

Inspection consists of testing of all smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, duct detectors, bells, horns, strobes, relays, annunciator panels, control panels, and battery systems. A decal is placed on the control panel indicating date of service etc. Our technicians are CFAA certified (Canadian Fire Alarm Association)/ Journeyman Electricians.

All work is performed in strict accordance with ULC standards and the National Fire code.

A detailed report showing number of devices, location and operation will be issued upon completion for your records.

An Annual Maintenance of each portable fire extinguisher in accordance with the National Fire Code and NFPA10 standards.

A tag that contains a monthly record for your own use is affixed to all fire extinguishers that are compliant.

Any that require additional service are removed from service and a fire extinguisher of equal or greater value is then substituted.

A detailed inventory list of each unit and their locations is available upon request.

A Semi-annual inspection which includes the testing of all mechanical devices of the system(s) including the pull station, fusible link detectors and gas shutoff valves in accordance with NFPA 17A. NFPA96 and the National Fire Code.

All Fusible links will be replaced at the time of servicing in accordance with manufactures specifications.

A detailed report will be issued upon completion.

Fire Hydrants require regular inspections and maintenance to ensure functional integrity.

An Annual inspection of Each battery pack in accordance with National Fire code standard 6.7.1.6.

Each pack goes through a 30-minute run down test and internal inspection. Upon completion, a test label is affixed to each pack.

A detailed report will be issued upon completion.

A Fire Safety Plan is a manual outlining the most important information relevant to the Fire Department during an emergency. A Fire Safety Plan is building specific and is to be updated annually. Our manuals are specific and are submitted to the local Fire Department for approval prior to installation. The Fire Safety Plan is conveniently stored at the front entrance of a building in a secured Fire Safety Plan box for easy access by the Fire Department.

Evacuation Maps detail the fire protection systems and major hazards in a building. It complements the Fire Safety Plan by representing the information in a clear, visual manner. Our Evacuation Maps are posted throughout the building to aid in the preparation of an emergency.

PF Protection can provide installations, maintenance, and monitoring services. Annual inspections of security systems can be incorporated with the Annual Fire inspections.
